The Journey

The Vivatech app redesign project focused on revolutionizing the user experience through gamification principles. The goal was to transform a traditional event app into an engaging, interactive platform that would keep users actively involved throughout their Vivatech experience. This project represented an exciting opportunity to merge modern design principles with gamification strategies to create a more dynamic and user-centric application.

Technical Growth & Learning

The redesign incorporated several innovative features to enhance user engagement and interaction. Key technical implementations included AR-powered directions for navigation, interactive hotspot mapping to highlight popular areas, and a comprehensive reward system. The modernization effort involved implementing rounded borders and contemporary design elements, while also developing new functionalities like direct messaging and user following capabilities. The priority question-asking feature was integrated as part of the gamification reward system, encouraging active participation.

Project Impact & Skills Gained

This project was particularly valuable as it aligned perfectly with Epitech's philosophy of teaching students "how to learn rather than repeat facts". Through building Vivatech, I gained crucial experience in design and marketing, developing skills in:
